Maastricht Chamber Orchestra

The Maastricht Chamber Orchestra (MCO) originated from the idea by conductor Federico Santi to bring together a group of young, talented professional musicians of different nationalities, with the common ideal of “making music together in which the individual can develop personally”.

The musicians are members of and play in professional orchestras in The Netherlands, France, Germany and Luxembourg.

In April 2015 the MCO gave two very successful fund-raising concerts in Tongeren (Belgium) and Maastricht (The Netherlands), featuring conductor Federico Santi and sopranos Barbara Haveman and Miroslava Yordanova, for Doctors without Borders.
