Teo Teocoli
Teo Teocoli, born Antonio Teocoli (Taranto, 25 February 1945), is an Italian comedian, imitator, television host, actor and singer.
Biography
He was born in Taranto, where his father had been transferred for a short time, to parents from Reggio; shortly after his birth, the family returned to Reggio Calabria where he grew up in the Sbarre district, behind the Oreste Granillo Stadium, until the age of 5, when the family settled permanently in Milan. Married since 1989 with Elena Fachini, he has three daughters: Anna Adele Letizia (born in 1989), Paola (1991) and Chiara (1992).
Beginnings
As a teenager he performed as a rock'n'roll singer in clubs in his city, such as Santa Tecla, with his band, I Demoniaci. In 1965 he obtained a recording contract with Dischi Ricordi, with which he made his debut in the same year with Una mossa mistaata with which he participated in the Caravella of Bari successes in the same year.
Here he meets Wilma Goich, with whom he becomes engaged. In 1966 he joined Quelli (the future Premiata Forneria Marconi), as a solo voice, and then left in 1967, after having achieved great success with Una bambolina che fa no no no; he then accepts the offer of the Celentano record company forming a new band, Teo and the victims, with whom he records some 45 rpm.
In the same year he took part in the Neapolitan Song Festival, proposing the ballad Carulina nun parte cchiù, performed in conjunction with the Campanino; he then records The Vitamins.
He then joined, in 1969, the Italian cast of the musical comedy Hair, together with Carlo De Mejo, Renato Zero, Loredana Bertè and Ronnie Jones; the following year the Italian RCA publishes the album with the songs of the show.
1970s and 1980s
In the following decade he made his debut as a stand-up comedian at the Derby in Milan, together with other well-known comedians such as Massimo Boldi, Cochi Ponzoni and Renato Pozzetto, Giorgio Faletti, Mauro Di Francesco; here he gets to know Enzo Jannacci, then author of the song The Straight, inspired by his story (Teocoli lived in a public house at n. 3, and the description of the character follows what he was as a young man).
He made his debut on television in 1973 with a secondary participation in the transmission Il poeta e il peasant broadcast by Rete 2, with Cochi and Renato, but the success will arrive on Antennatre together with Massimo Boldi in the program Non lo sapessi but I know in 1982.
After Drive In and A roundabout on the sea, in 1989 he proposed the character of Peo Pericoli (a great Milan fan) in the program Emilio.
In 1991 with Gene Gnocchi he participates in Il Gioco dei 9 and is among the protagonists of the sit-com Neighbors on Italia 1. From 2 December 1991 to 6 January 1992 he leads Striscia la Notizie. From 9 February to 3 May 1992 he presented 1 Scherzi a parte with Gene Gnocchi on Italia. From the 1992/1993 season he presented Mai dire gol until 1995 when he was replaced by Claudio Lippi.
In 1996 he hosted the variety Il boom on Canale 5 together with Gene Gnocchi and Simona Ventura. It re-proposes its sports characters in EuroPeo, broadcast on Italia 1 on the occasion of the European football championship.
In 1997 he moved to Rai and hosted the Faccia tosta variety on Rai 1 together with Wendy Windham. In the same year he is one of the protagonists of Italian Fantastica. After some participations in the Sunday program Quelli che il calcio, by and with Fabio Fazio, he became a regular guest in the 1998-1999 and 1999-2000 seasons with hilarious characters such as the imitation of Cesare Maldini and Peppino Prisco.
In February 1999 together with Fabio Fazio and Orietta Berti he leads Sanremo Notte, the appointment that accompanies the 49th edition of the Festival. In October 1999 he was a regular guest of Adriano Celentano in the program Francamente me ne ne ne ne ne nonchi and in the same year he received the Television Direction Award for the best male character of the year.
2000s and 2010s
In 2000 he joined Fabio Fazio and Luciano Pavarotti in conducting the 50th Sanremo Festival. After returning to Mediaset, he participates in the Italian variety.
He then leads only one episode of Paperissima with Natalia Estrada due to disagreements with colleagues. He leads two editions of Scherzi a parte with Massimo Boldi, one with the newcomer Michelle Hunziker and the other with Manuela Arcuri and Anna Maria Barbera; he leads the show Il Teo-Sono tornato normal together with Alba Parietti with little success; he presents together with Roberta Capua the summer show Sei un myth!. Wanted by the director of Rai 1 Fabrizio Del Noce, he goes to RAI to conduct your business but Endemol, producer of the program, does not believe that he is suitable for this broadcast and prefers Pupo.
In RAI he participates in the program Che tempo che fa broadcast on Saturday evening on Rai 3, in Rockpolitik on Rai 1 and in Domenica Sportiva on Rai 2 in the 2006-2007 season conducted by Jacopo Volpi and in the 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 conducted by Massimo De Luca. In the spring of
2007 his show on Rai 1 will never see the light and participates in the program conducted by Simona Ventura Stroke of genius, which however does not obtain the hoped-for success and is closed after only two episodes.
In 2008 she presented her song Carta d'identita sung with Tony Dallara at the Sanremo Festival, but the two were excluded from the jury and sang the song in the mini-show of Fiorello Viva Radio Two minutes.
In June 2008 he participated in European Nights presented by Jacopo Volpi, on the occasion of the 2008 European football championship. From October 2009 he became testimonial and sports commentator for the Betfair Italia company. In the Sanremo Festival, Teocoli duets with Alexia and Mario Lavezzi in the song "Biancaneve".
In 2014 he joined the cast of contestants in the talent show hosted by Milly Carlucci Dancing with the stars paired with Natalia Titova, but retired after three episodes due to physical problems. From 28 November 2015 it returns to TV, on Rai 3, with the program Teo in the box, the Italian version of the Host in the box format produced by Endemol. On 31 December 2016, together with Amadeus, he hosts the program L'anno checome on Rai 1 live from Potenza.

Felice Caccamo: is a Neapolitan sports journalist. He appeared for the first time in 1990 in Paperissima and became one of the pillars of Mai dire Gol; he is depicted fawn, with sixties-style goggles, dressed in a blue jacket that is too tight. The tie deliberately makes the background with the Gulf of Naples thanks to the improper use of the chroma key. His catchphrase is Spin the ball, spin the ball, his myths Bruno Pesaola, Corrado Ferlaino and Giuseppe Bruscolotti.
